26th World Pentecostal Conference Rescheduled for October 12 - 14, 2022 Due to COVID19 Travel Restrictions

October 27, 2021

The Pentecostal World Fellowship announces that the 26th triennial Pentecostal World Conference (PWC) which was scheduled to be held in Seoul, Korea, June 8-10, 2022 on the campus of Yoido Full Gospel Church has been rescheduled for October 12-14, 2022 due to Covid19 travel restrictions in Korea.

Recently, the Korean government consulted with Dr. Younghoon Lee, Senior Pastor of the Yoido Full Gospel Church and estimated that a June date for an international conference in Korea would not be feasible. South Korea’s population is only beginning now to make significant progress toward being fully vaccinated, which will take many more months. The nation is still under strict Covid protocols and restrictions at this time. The government has advised that it would not be wise to plan an international event in June though they do foresee things improving by then. After conferring, praying and looking at possibilities the PWF Executive and Advisory Committees have scheduled the new date of October 12-14, for the 2022 Pentecostal World Conference.

Spirit-empowered Christians from around the world are invited to attend the 26th Pentecostal World Conference (PWC), October 12-14, 2022, at Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, South Korea.

The 26th PWC will bring together representatives of the Pentecostal movement from around the world for a three-day conference focused on the theme of “Pentecostal Revival in the Next Generation.” On the final day of the conference, participants will gather for a Global Prayer Meeting at the DMZ Peace Park, located along the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea.

The 26th PWC will feature gatherings of several Pentecostal World Fellowship commissions including The World Missions Commission, The World Alliance for Pentecostal Theological Education, and the Christian Unity Commission. The conference will also serve as the launching point for the PWF National Ambassador Program, a new initiative to foster unity in the Spirit-empowered church by appointing a PWF representative in every nation on earth.
